1. How did JSF come into being and when?
In 1998-99 the rollerblading scene was really big and strong. There was friday night skate at embarcadero where every week everyone from all over the bay would come skate together. When Dave Paine needed a norcal section for vg 12 Jared Magers took the wheel and edited the section for battle my crew. When coming up with a name there was a phone call between ESG Jared Magers and Rob G after talking for awhile they all agreed on the name Juiced Sucka Foos and with that JSF was born.

2. What is the message of your video ‘Still Having Fun’?

First off, to be fair its not MY video it was a team effort. Erick deserves equal credit, we combined our footage and split the duplication costs. Alot of people dont know this but Erick is a wiz at windows movie maker. Anyway, when we were coming up with a title we had that familiar discussion about how, We are all getting older now and skating isnt the same as it was when we were young, unbreakable and carefree. we talked about how its tough balancing the responsibility of young adulthood and still finding time to play with your toys…yet somehow we still manage to do it. The whole reason we all got into rollerblading is because its so fun and now here we are 10 + years later still doin it, still having fun. The message is just because your getting old does not mean you have to hang up your boots.

3. How do you feel about prostitutes?

Ah, the oldest profession on earth! I’m glad you asked, My first experience with a prostitute was in LA for the IMYTA down there a few years back. It was the night after the comp and We were at the hotel drinking and doin our thing and of course it had to happen somebody passed out on the bed. A little while later A friend and i walked down to the store to get more beer and along the way we saw a prostitute down on the corner. This was no average prostitute, she was fat and hideous. Id never let her work for me. Anyway, So Being drunk and thinking it was a good idea we approached her and asked her how much she then lead us to her pimp who told us that she did not do threesomes. We explained to the pimp all we wanted the girl to do was get naked and jump on our friend who was passed out upstairs just to shock him and get a reaction. He was a little confused but he finally agreed and ended up letting us take her back to the hotel for $100 bucks,  long story short I remember laughing till i cried. Man regret losing that footage. No But seriously, Good prostitutes are hard to come by, you never know what caliber of girl you are gonna get. It sucks sometimes when they try to short me on my money when i know they’re holdin out. I’ve never had to hit one of my girls, I’ve had to choke a few but that’s it, for the most part I treat them like I treat everyone else, my level of respect for people is based on how much I’m given by them.

4. Why is the Bay Area so much sicker than anywhere else?

Hella, Girls, Friends, Weather, Skate Spots. Lake Merritt, Oakland, San Francisco, kron 4 news, BART, Side shows, Arcitecture, Slang, Music Venues, Drug Culture, and to top it off we have the rawest bums in the world.

5. What inspires you to make skate videos and edits?
Well, when your fueled by Pounds of Marijuana and gallons of Arizona Green Tea. The sky is really the limit when it comes to inspiration. I guess in all honesty I really enjoy the whole process of creating something out of nothing. Everything from going out and Getting the Shots to Choosing music and applying fx, an empty timeline is my blank canvas, its a great creative outet for me.

6. What is your best memory of skating in the Bay Area?

Friday night skate at embarcadero from ‘97 – 02. great era to be apart of. Huge groups of kids from all over the bay taking over areas of the city like a small army on a weekly basis. We were unstoppable out on the streets runnin wild.

7. What is your favorite bay area skatepark?
depends on the day. tuesdays at walnut creek are fun but saturdays at novato and benecia are fun too.

8. What is your favorite youtube video?

I’ve been watching a lot of stand up comedy lately, I think it would be fun to get into at some point in life, just to try it out at least, i mean your job would be to make drunk people forget about how miserable their existence is for a bit, lighten up, and have a good time.  I can already make people laugh now somebody is  gonna pay me for it? sounds like cool gig to me.
