PIRATED AUDIO REVIEW by LOUDAMERICANBOMB: AutoKratz Animal

British electro-rock duo AutoKratz are releasing their debut LP Animal in a couple weeks, but go ahead and get it now if you know whats good for you (and bad for the band).

Characterized by a familiar, though unique sound, David Cox & Russell Crank have honed a style that is as much depeche mode as it is daft punk.

The album, following last year’s Down & Out in London & Paris (pretty much just a collection of singles), will greatly broaden autoKratz’s renown as one of the best acts in european electronic music.

Composed of varied styles and moods, Animal is fucking good work; even if it sometimes lacks audaciousness. What is especially unfortunate is the absence of the primal scream cover, “swastika eyes”, which garnered praise from primal scream themselves.

Now the sound isn’t exactly revolutionary as the same aural tricks are used throughout autoKratz’s oeuvre, but the music still does the trick, leaving you ready to rip the dance floor on your fucking blades.
